Das „GoCore!“-Logo versinnbildlicht mit vier Piktogrammen die Schärfe der „Schneide“ dieser neuen Wissenschaftsdisziplin (Cutting Edge of Cyberscience). Konstituanten sind zum einen die Idee der Rechtsstaatlichkeit (Piktogramm „Paragraph“) wie auch die Berücksichtigung monetärer Ressourcen, sowie die Einbeziehung der Analyse von Effektivitäts- und Effizienz-potentialen (Piktogramm „Euro-Zeichen“). Diese Relationen finden sich auch in der proprietären Methodik von „GoCore!“ wieder – nämlich der LEXONOMICS-Perspektive*
Unter Einbeziehung des Cyberspace ist die Bedeutung der Automatisierung, die von informationstechnologischen Produkten und Prozessen über Softwareagenten, Roboter bis zu Cyborgs reicht (Piktogramm „Roboter“). Diese Integration künstlicher Intelligenz (Artificial Intelligence) wird mit dem Robot-Piktogramm wiedergegeben. Hervorzuheben ist, dass der Roboter in traditioneller Klagehaltung die Arme hebt und insofern auch er –theoretisch – an die Rechtstaatsidee (Art. 19 Abs. 4, 20 Abs. 2 S. 2, Abs. 3 und Art. 28 Abs. 1 S. 1 GG) appelliert.
Die Waagschalen (Piktogramm) können sowohl auf die Rechtstaatsidee wie auch auf Ressourcenorientierung bezogen werden: Zum einen verlangt die RPF-Formel (Respect, Protect, Fulfill) eine Abwägung von Rechtspositionen, zum anderen weisen die Waagen auf „Economies of Scale“ hin.
Aus Gründen besserer optischer Visualisierung werden nur Teile des Logos in bunter Farbzusammensetzung wiedergegeben. Verdeutlicht werden soll durch die Buntheit des Logos wie auch des Headers der Homepage die Offenheit des Forschungsportals „GoCore!“ für Mitglieder wie Erkenntnisse aller – nicht nur an der TUD angesiedelten – Wissenschaftsdisziplinen. Voraussetzung ist, dass ihr Beitrag die Konturierung der „Messerschneide“ bzw. die pfeilgemäße Fokussierung der Wissenschaftsergebnisse für die Praxis zu fördern verspricht („Impact-Ambition“).
